Cameroon – Far North: At least fourteen dead in bloody bombings in Waza

Around 10 pm in the night between yesterday’s Wednesday, July 12, and Thursday, July 13, 2017, the terrorists committed carnage in Waza, a locality in the Logone & Chari division, Far North Region, close to the border with Nigeria.

If the circumstances of these suicide bombings are not yet known, it will be noted that the first provisional toll of this terrorist attack reported nine deaths. But according to the latest figures published by our colleague Guibai Gatama, the death toll has increased to fourteen. The provisional record also shows 32 injured ….

This murderous attack has not been claimed, as has always been the case for three years that Cameroon officially entered the war against Boko haram. But the suicide attacks recorded this night, like the previous ones, are attributed by the authorities to the members of Boko haram, the Islamist sect of Nigerian origin
