Written by Deckson N.

Christians of Presbyterian Church in Cameroon, PCC, have pressed on church administrators to unveil faces behind the theft of the sum of FCFA 7 million from the church’s safe three weeks back.

The Post Newspaper reports that the issue was the main topic of discussion last Sunday in which the Parish Pastor who doubles as Presbyterial Secretary for East Mungo, Rev Emmanuel Massok urged the Christians to remain calm as investigations to unveil perpetrators continue.

According to him, Christians should be calm because it is money that has been stolen and not their blessings.

The Presbytery Secretary said the matter was taken to court because the church is an institution under the State.

He said the outgoing Pastor the Rev Denis Kang did not do his job well by not controlling his Christians.

The main suspects the treasurer, Security guard, cleaners were arrested and later bailed while investigations continue.
