The 29th African Union (AU) summit, held since Tuesday, June 27, 2017 in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, will be closed after tomorrow, Tuesday 04 July.
Heads of State and Government, members of the African Union, are expected to arrive tomorrow, Monday, 03 July 2017, at the African Union headquarters in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, for the last act of the 29th AU summit .
The draft resolutions taken during the committee’s work since last Tuesday, June 27, will be subject to probable appreciation and adoption by the Heads of State and Government during the Conference which will see the participation of the latter on Monday 03 on Tuesday 04 July 2017.
Cameroon will not be represented at this Conference by her President of the Republic, Paul Biya. The latter chose to send as his personal representative, Philemon Yang, the Prime Minister, head of the Cameroonian government.
The search for ways and means to fight the economic and security crisis that is going through some member countries and the reform of the AU are the main subjects on the agenda of the Conference of Heads of State and Government.
