Cameroon – Far North: Boko Haram kills a Cameroonian soldier by surprise in Wambache

First-class soldier Abdoulaye Oumarou lost his life on Tuesday morning, around 7 am. He was ambushed on a road in Wambache, a locality in the Mora subdivision on the border with Nigeria. The soldier had ventured there with one of his comrades from the Mixed Multinational Force. According to our information, both were permitted for the day.

We have not yet gotten any more accurate information about the attack. On the other hand, it is known that the Cameroonian military were surprised by terrorists in their passage. The members of the sect, whose numbers are unknown at the moment, killed the first-class soldier Abdoulaye Oumarou and took his weapon. The second Cameroonian soldier would have managed to escape. This last information remains to be confirmed.
