Cameroon – Russia 2017: Indomitable Lions landed in Sochi for the clash against Germany

After their match yesterday Thursday June 22, 2017 against Australia (1-1) in St. Petersburg, the second largest city of Russia, the Cameroon team immediately embarked on a plane to Sochi, a city Seaside resort with warm oceanic climate, located in the west of Russia.

After three hours of flight in the night from yesterday to Friday, the African champions took their new quarters at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Sochi, it was 2 am, Yaounde time.

Captain Benjamin Moukandjo and his team-mates emerge from their den late in the morning for a leisurely stroll through the streets of Sochi, host city of the 2014 Winter Olympics and soon host city of the 2018 Football World Cup.

After this short hike, the indomitable Lions will meet in the early evening for a training session scheduled at 4:PM, Yaounde time.

The African champions will begin, preparing their last game of the first all against the reigning World Champions, the German team.

A decisive match for the access ticket in the semi-finals, scheduled on Sunday 25 June 2017 from 4PM, Yaounde time. At the same time, Chile will face Australia, the second decisive match of Group B. In the ranking, Chile and Germany are leading with 4 points each, while Cameroon and Australia each show 1 point . In Group A, Mexico and Portugal are at the top of the ranking with 4 points, Russia ranked 3rd with 3 points and basically, New Zealand 0 point and first country eliminated from the title race.

At the end of the second day, no country is qualified for the second round. This indicates the high level of the Competition.

The 10th edition of the Confederations Cup in Russia is in its second truce this Friday, June 23, 2017. Resumption of matches tomorrow Saturday by Group A with the meetings of the third and final day of the first round, 4 PM Mexico against Russia and Portugal against New Zealand.
