Liza T, whose real name is Elise Tchuissa Yankoua, was born on 28 October 1968 in Douala. Artist having marked her time, Liza T has rocked more than one through her songs. Even dead, her cultural heritage is alive and well.
Among her most famous pieces, we can quote ‘Associé‘. A makossa sound on which many Cameroonians have danced. Not to mention also ‘Nostalgie‘, one of her flagship titles.
Many wondered why such a long absence out of the spotlight. Indeed, the disease had been gnawing Liza T for 20 years. She could not even feed normally. She was so upset that she asked the Lord to call her to him, so much suffering was atrocious.
In her illness, she had several supports from her fans who brought her material and spiritual supports. Among these supporters was that of the emblematic captain of the indomitable lions Samuel Eto’o Fils. In one of her interviews she said, “I thank Samuel Eto’o for all he has done for me. He spent a lot of money on me. ” Proof that many wanted her to be envious and continue to share her musical experience and bring smiles to the fans.
