In the long term, some 10,000 police officers of all ranks will be recruited from the police, which should, in particular, make it possible to increase the number of staff in the major urban centers, border posts and units within the police. To deal with banditry and insecurity.

According to information close to the DGSN, more than 2000 police officers affected by the age limit will have to be allowed to claim their retirement rights by next year.
