Cameroon and Nigeria will be honored in a few weeks in Brussels.
The Cameroonian rapper Maahlox Le Vibeur and Davido, known as one of the great names in Nigerian music, will be at the Birmingham Palace.
Two concerts, two halls and a date for these heavyweights that have conquered both their national and international territories.
The two artists will perform in the same place, different halls that face each other.
Davido, son of the wealthy Dr. Deji Adeleke, is a Nigerian artist, composer and performer.
The artist quickly arouse interest in Africa with his single “Dami Duro” from his debut album “Omo Baba Olowo” released in 2012.
But the artist experienced a more astonishing success with the tubes like “Aye” and “Skelewu” which propelled him even further in music.
The singer admits that the fortune of his father helped him but if he knew how to impose himself in the music industry it is also without doubt because of this undeniable talent.
Davido will also released other songs like “Gobe“; “Kuro“, both of which were successful.
Recognized internationally like great stars, Davido has received several awards such as Best New Artist 2012 at the Kora; Best Male Artist 2014 and Artist of the Year at the MTV African Music Awards. He will even be crowned at the BET Awards and will be nominated at the MTV Europe Music Awards.
On the other side, there is Maahlox known as the “Donald Trump” of the Cameroonian music and author of the Continental title “Ça sort comme ça sort“.
Maahlox contrary to Davido, son of billionaire; The Cameroonian artist comes from a modest family. The Mendong’s boy identifies himself as a street rapper.
Starting from nothing to be at this level, the artist passed before many difficulties during 13 years before knowing his first tube with “La Bière C’est combien Ici” released in 2013.
But it is with his title “Ça sort comme ça sort” that the artist won success beyond the borders of Cameroon.
Even as his texts are sometimes deemed perverse by his detractors, the artist never ceases to peer his audience.
