The author of the hit song “calé“, almost passed from life to death when she was expected at a prestigious evening at the Katios Night club in Yaoundé.
On the night of Friday 09 to Saturday 10 June 2017, the young and promising artist Daphne was expected at the Katios, a Night-club of the political capital of Cameroon, to stage “Calé“, the main title of her latest album in which she declares that she is stuck behind a guy, the man of her life who kills her with his eyes.
Ironically, it is rather a car that nearly killed Daphne in a traffic accident in the vicinity of Katios club.
“After a long day of work with Daphne, we almost lost our lives. Arrived at the Katios night club, the team went out and prepared the seats while we waited in the car. A 4X4 came out of nowhere rushed towards us where the artist was sitting in the car, “says Romaric Tene, a close friend of the artist who adds that it is in a state of unconsciousness and seriously injured that Daphne and her manager Pearl Louma were taken to the emergency center in Yaoundé.
At the latest news, the state of health of the singer has improved. Her manager and all the other people who were in the same car as Daphne are also out of danger.
