Zoo, the walk to the dream, the first film about Cameroonian hip hop is selected at the 2017 Ecrans Noirs 2017 Festival in the category “Cameroonian LM Film“. The team of Scandy Decimal, the director of the film will be from the 15th to the 22nd of July 2017 in Yaoundé. He shared his impressions with us when he learned the good news.

It’s really fun, although it’s not the first film I’m working on that’s retained on this festival. The last three films I worked on, Conséquences tribales, Engagement mortel and Miranda had been retained. I learned the news very early this morning, it is proof that the efforts of the last three years were not in vain. I think the best is yet to come, the film has been sent to several festivals, I expect the results of others hoping to be nominated also

Zoo, is the story of a young guy, Zoé, embodied by Maxime Onambele, who wishes to realize his dream: To succeed in the Hip Hop. He decides to participate in the “Clash Compet“, a competition that will make him an MC! Between clash, rap and love, Zoé is determined to make a place in the game. In 1 hour 16 minutes, Max Onambele, Skill Papy, Killamel, Les Clés, D.christian, Franko, Fidjil, Brayan, Djinn and many other actors of the movement are very impressive.
