Cameroon – Bishop Bala’s case: Disturbing confession of his collaborator

Written by Deckson N.

Surprising revelations about the circumstances of the death of Bishop Jean-Marie Benoit Bala, Bishop of Bafia, have been made since the discovery of his remains nearly a week ago.

While the thesis of assassination is increasingly supported in public opinion, Father Thadée Mbog, parish priest of Guibassal has just made a revelation that could cause confusion in the minds of the Cameroonian Catholic community.

The head of the Episcopate Diocese of Bafia affirms, indeed, being one of the last people to have rubbed shoulders with the Bishop of Bafia before his disappearance.

We met last week [the week before the disappearance of the prelate, Ed.] at the funeral of one of our rectors of the Small Seminary. We were all affected by the death of the colleague, but I found Bishop Bala particularly tired and anxious, “declared the parish priest.

Statements that would suggest the suicide hypothesis if points from the autopsy report published by some media did not reveal contradictory elements. In a publication earlier this week, the newspaper L’Anecdote published a section of the autopsy report that would reinforce the thesis of the murder.
