The former captain of the indomitable Lions made a courtesy visit to the General Manager of the CRTV on Thursday.
The activities of the National Football Academy (ANAFOOT) were the menu of the interview between the two men (see CRTV report below). Samuel Eto’o welcomed the recent appointment by Head of State Paul Biya of the first leaders of this structure whose chairman of the board is the former president of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) , Issa Hayatou.
In any event, Samuel Eto’o believes that young people should seize their chances with the establishment of this structure whose proper functioning is likely to ensure the training of footballers. He promised to contribute to the development of this structure, using his address book whenever necessary.
Samuel Eto’o is staying in Cameroon as part of the first edition of the Sports Awards organized by Radio Sport Info (RSI) broadcasting in Douala.
