After the end of season with their respective clubs, the African champions will be back in Yaoundé on Sunday, May 28 for a training course targeting the first day of the 2019 AFCON qualifiers and the final phase of the Confederations Cup.
No rest, no vacation for the Indomitable Lions. They will be 30 players in total to take part in this course which begins in Yaoundé, the capital of Cameroon. The goal of this grouping is to prepare for the two important events that will await them in the coming weeks, namely the first day of the Africa Cup of Nations 2019 qualifiers organized by the country and the final phase of the Cup of Confederations in Russia.

Serious things will resume in a few days. The regrouping will take place at the Mont Febe hotel. But after a short stay in the city of Yaounde, Hugo Broos and his players will head for Equatorial Guinea, for a green setting that should last between four and five days. Then the return to Yaoundé where the African champions will receive Morocco on June 10 at the Omnisports Stadium on the first day of the AFCON 2019 qualifiers. Three days later (June 13), the Indomitable Lions will play an international friendly against Colombia. The meeting is scheduled in Spain. A match that will allow the Belgian coach to draw up the list of the 23 players who will go to defend the colors of Cameroon from Africa to the Confederations Cup scheduled the same month in Russia.
In Group B of the tournament, the Lions’ first match against Chile will take place on 18 June, while the other two nations of the group, Germany and Australia, clashed the next day.
