Cameroon – ICT: Two Cameroonian teams finalists of the Bots for Messenger contest organized by Facebook

Two Cameroonian teams are on the list of 60 finalists from Africa and the Middle East, selected by Facebook for its “Bots for Messenger” contest, which rewards developers who can create the most innovative robots for Messenger, One in an official statement.

The Cameroonian teams, named Quizzcoin and Cuisto, are respectively aligned in the categories “Games and entertainment” and “Social good“. The competition includes a 3rd category: the one called “Productivity and utilities“. Like their competitors, these ambassadors of Cameroon have until June 2, 2017 to submit their robots and hope to win the final victory.

For each region (North Africa and Middle East, then Sub-Saharan Africa), Facebook says, “the three finalist teams (one for each category) will win $10,000 and three months of mentoring from Facebook.
