Cameroon – Finance: Ecobank Cameroon opens in OiLibya filling stations to distribute its digital financial services

Ecobank Transnational Incorporated, the parent company of the pan-African banking group Ecobank, which has subsidiaries in 33 African countries, including Cameroon, has just signed a partnership with distributor of petroleum products OiLibya in 18 countries in Africa for digital banking services, it said in an official statement.

Through this partnership, Ecobank’s Electronic Payment Terminals (EPT) and ATMs are expected to land at OiLibya service stations.

In Cameroon, Ecobank is positioning itself on the OiLybia network, after SCB Cameroun, a subsidiary of Attijariwafa Bank, which operates the on the Total network; Or UBA Cameroon, which recently entered into partnership with Cameroonian tanker Tradex, for the distribution of digital financial products.
