FC Barcelona – Neymar threatens: »If he stays I’m going away! “

Written by Deckson N.

It is the Spanish daily Mundo Deportivo that announces in its columns that Neymar threatens to leave FC Barcelona. Until now, the Catalan club still has not officially designated the successor of Luis Enrique who announced his departure a few weeks ago. Most recently Neymar would have made his leaders understand that he did not want the assistant coach Juan Carlos Unzué at all.

Juan Carlos Unzué, assistant to Luis Enrique, was described as “great favorite” for the position of coach a few days ago. He is almost certain to leave the staff of FC Barcelona during the offseason, according to El Mundo Deportivo this Friday! The Catalan leaders were counting on continuity with this internal solution, so as to leave the MSN in the best position, but it is precisely one of the members of the offensive trio who had the skin of Unzué.

Indeed, everything started from an altercation between Juan Carlos Unzué, deputy of Luis Enrique, and Neymar last week. After training the Catalans, the assistant coach stopped Neymar and did not like his attitude during the said session : “If you continue like this, you will end up like Ronaldinho.” This caused a lively discussion that made the catalans squabbles last week.

A speech that made Neymar very angry. “If he remains, I go!“, Would have launched the attacker in the locker room and the threat circulated in the corridors of the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper.

The FCB therefore returns to the starting point. Juan Carlos Unzué in any case had too little experienced (as main coach, he only directed Numancia and Santander in D2 before attending to Luis Enrique at Celta). In fact, Josep Maria Bartomeu has no choice but to prolong the suspense because the two main targets, Ernesto Valverde (Bilbao) and Ronald Koeman (Everton), are stationed elsewhere. And it will be necessary, it seems, to consult the stars of the workforce before choosing.
