The young Kaffo Langevin was nominated to succeed his father as the 11th King of the Babadjou, a Kingdom of the West Region of Cameroon which has no less than 50,000 inhabitants. It is a fairly common ritual that led to its designation this Saturday, May 06, 2017, when the burial ceremony of the late chief SM SAMBANKEING TEMGOUA Bertrand was completed.
Among the sons of the late king, the choice of notables was made for the young KAFFO who is only 17-year old, the exact number of years spent by his predecessor on the throne (17 years of reign) According to media sources.
As a result of this ritual, as well as the 10 other monarchs who succeeded one another, KAFFO Langevin spent several days in the secret chamber for his initiation, after which he officially took the command stick of the Babadjou Kingdom.
This designation of the young KAFFO Langevin as King remembers another, that of Adrien DJEUTSA SONKWÉ who was taken to head of the Batcham Kingdom in January 2016, at the age of 13 years only.
