In 2010, this child had provoked many reactions when his story had been reported in the media. Ardi Rizal, aged two years and originally from Indonesia, smoked 40 cigarettes a day. Today, he is 9-year old, and the young boy has transformed his life.

The boy, from a remote village in Sumatra, was the subject of international concern when his photos about his smoking were revealed.

But, it must be admitted that it was not an easy trip for the little boy who developed a food addiction after giving up cigarettes at the age of five. The guy had gained weight, but in recent years, he has managed to lose pounds.

Followed by a team of specialists, the famous baby smoker weighed 24 kilos at the age of five, 6 to 7 kilos more than his ideal weight, and had to follow a strict regime.

Ardi finally defeated this second addiction thanks to a diet made from fresh fruits and vegetables.

Speaking four years ago, his mother said: “At first, when we prevented Ardi from consuming cigarettes, he had tantrums of terrible anger. But he does not want them now. “

Ardi’s parents revealed that addiction to smoking began when Ardi’s father gave him his first cigarette when he was only 18 months old.

Now, with the help of the Indonesian government and a nutritionist, Ardi reappeared as a child born again at the age of nine.

The nine-year-old boy, who consumed three cans of condensed milk a day, now limits himself to a diet consisting of fresh fish, fruits and vegetables to help him lose weight.

Today with the body much healthier, Ardi managed to overcome his constraints remotely by focusing on his school.
