A woman of sixty, gave birth to twins this Thursday in Yaounde.
A sixty-year-old lady, who had not yet had children, gave birth to twins on Thursday in Yaounde.
The birth took place at the Hospital for Research and Application in Endoscopic Surgery and Human Reproduction (Chracerh), of Ngousso (Yaoundé).
The happy mother, addressed her first words of thanks to God, through whom her childbirth was possible.
The mother was then grateful to the doctors around Professor Jean Marie Kassia, director of the Chracerh, who facilitated conception and delivery.
Inaugurated on May 6, 2016, by Chantal Biya, the wife of the Cameroonian president, Chracerh’s mission is to fight against infertility.
As a reminder, the Chracerh doctors are not at their first feat. In July 2016, a 52-year-old lady gave birth to her first child in this structure, which has given rise to hope among the population since its inauguration.
The high costs practiced in Chracerh, remain a brake for many couples without children who express the need to have them.
