Cameroon – Cooperation: Yaounde hosts economic forum Cameroon-Tunisia from 8 to 9 May 201

The Minister of the Economy, Planning and Territorial Development (Minepat), Louis Paul Motaze, informs that, within the framework of the bilateral cooperation between Cameroon and Tunisia, an economic forum will be held in Yaoundé on the 8 and 9 May 2017.

According to Louis Paul Motaze, “this important meeting planned on the sidelines of the meeting of the follow-up committee of the 10th session of the Main Committee on Bilateral Cooperation between Cameroon and Tunisia constitutes an opportunity for exchanges between Tunisian investors And the Cameroonian economic operators “. He added that the forum would allow for the possibility of joint ventures and financing of projects of common interest in areas such as agriculture and agro-industry, renewable energy, information technology and Communication, energy, public buildings, higher education, health, the pharmaceutical industry, tourism, etc.

The Economic Forum of May 8th and 9th, 2017 is the logical follow-up of a mission to prospect Tunisian economic operators in Cameroon punctuated by two Cameroon-Tunisia business forums, on 4 and 6 April 2016, respectively in Yaoundé and Douala.
