Cameroon – Afcon 2017: Indomitable Lions threaten to return to Yaounde if their bonuses are not increased!

Now, after every big performance, the players of the national team of Cameroon take advantage to put requirements to the public authorities.

After managing to pull twelve million CFA francs from the government instead of about ten million CFA francs as a qualification bonus for the second round of the final round of Gabon 2017 for each player, the indomitable Lions began last night, a strike to demand bonuses to the dimension of their performance in the quarterfinal against Senegal.

Initially, Yaounde had planned less than four million if qualified for the semi-finals. Captain Benjamin Moukandjo and his comrades estimate today that this amount is pathetic. In the aftermath, they want once and for all, the leaders revalorize the amounts of the bonuses with a view to a possible qualification for the final and a victory in the final.

The Indomitable Lions did not train on Monday morning. They have a resting day since this Monday afternoon. Probable resumption of training sessions tomorrow Tuesday to prepare the game of semi-finals scheduled in Franceville on Thursday 02 February against Ghana.
