The General Secretariat of the Economic Community of African States (Ceeac), headquartered in Libreville, Gabon, has issued a selection notice for the selection of its new External Auditor for the years 2017, 2018 and 2019.
At the end of the selection, the accounting firm selected will have the task of evaluating the internal control in force within the Ceeac General Secretariat, making recommendations, expressing, in accordance with internationally accepted auditing standards , A reasoned opinion on the regularity and fairness of the financial statements of the General Secretariat for the audited financial periods and submit its report to the decision-making bodies (Advisory Committee and Council of Ministers).
Tenderers must be a chartered accountancy firm, either by a recognized sub-regional institution or by the national body responsible for issuing official financial audit approvals. They must be regularly established in one of the member countries of Ceeac, have a notoriety, a sense of community integration and a good command of the law of Ohada and particularly its accounting system.
Applications will be submitted in one original and three copies in a closed envelope marked “Ceeac – Recruitment of an External Auditor” and will either be sent by DHL or similar, or physically deposited at Headquarters. Libreville not later than Tuesday, January 31, 2017.
