According to the parliamentarian, the regime in power in Yaounde refuses a real dialogue for a long time.
Joshua Nambangi Osih when asked to comment on the end of year speech of Paul Biya devoted to the anglophone crisis, the MP of the Social Democratic Front (SDF) accuses the Cameroonian Head of State and his Government of the worst things.
For the MP of Wouri, the regime of Yaounde refuses a sincere dialogue. “We do not want this country to disintegrate. That is why for several years we have been asking the Government to have the courage that South Africa has had, post apartheid to try to solve its problems. And we believe that Cameroonians are still able to talk to each other and find political solutions to the many problems we have, “the parliamentarian said on 3 January 2017 on Radio France Internationale.
When the interviewer asks him whether he is comparing Cameroon today to South Africa from the Apartheid period, the Hon. Osih replied in the affirmative. “We think that is the case. This is why some people do not hesitate to say that what happens between the ruling clique of the regime of Yaounde and the rest of the Cameroonians is nothing but apartheid. We believe that it is essential that we speak to try to find lasting solutions to the suffering of the Cameroonians, “says the vice president of the Social Democratic Front.
