Cameroon – Anglophone Problem: [Photos] The Monday strike so far!

After the end of year speech of Paul Biya, many Cameroonians especially English-speaking Cameroonians from the MW and SW regions of the country we all disappointed. This because in his speech, the president did not really solve any issue concerning the demands of the lawyers and teachers. Consequently, the planned strike of 2nd January 2017 had to continue.

The strike so far has not yet experienced any major incident as the previous ones, although major cities like Bamenda and Buea are heavily militarized. Below are some pics of the strike in some English-speaking towns as seen on social media.

Mundemba (SW)

According to sources, the protest went well, and the SDO had about 50 people arrested. Sources say about 50 people were arrested in this area. below are some few pics.

Buea (SW)
