The cities of Sangmelima in the south, Limbe in the south-west and Douala in the Littoral now have Vocational Training Centers of Excellence (VTCE).

These training centers equipped with state-of-the-art equipment were all inaugurated last week by the Cameroonian Prime Minister, Philemon Yang. Construction started in 2013.

These centers will enable hundreds of young Cameroonians to be trained on short cycles in 14 identified trades, among which wood processing, mechanics, the clothing industry, Electronics, computing and multimedia, hotels, etc.

As a result of the cooperation with South Korea, these structures, which cost a mere 24 billion CFA francs, will allow “the improvement of the quantitative and qualitative supply of vocational training, with a view to a successful integration of Young people and job seekers, “said the Minister of Employment and Vocational Training, Zacharie Perevet.
