The tension in Bamenda, capital of the NW region of Cameroon is still high since the debut of the Anglophone teachers and lawyers strikes. Schools are closed, businesses in the main commercial area are also closed.
Today is no exception as the population is out at Commecial Avenue to continue their protest. The CPDM is to hold their “peace” rally as from 2:pm today. But the population is totally against it as some have decided to burn the CPDM uniform, and also tried to even lynch a CPDM member who had to run away in his car. see the pics and video below!
