Cameroon – Taxation: The Cameroonian public treasury collected CFAF 3.8 billion as state revenue in 2016

The ministry in charge of land affairs informs that in this year 2016, the public treasury has recovered the sum of 3.8 billion CFA francs in respect of state revenues.

In terms of actions to be taken, this administration states that it has settled 4507 land disputes, through free and contentious remedies.

It established 20,185 land titles throughout the national territory. This ministerial department issued 10,000 shares as part of the implementation of the condominium. Not to mention the ongoing security of 2,437,000 hectares of land under the program to build land reserves, the development of 2,734 building plots and the declaration of public utility for the benefit of 116 government projects.

In terms of prospects, the Ministry of Land Affairs announces that it will proceed in 2017 to intensify the national geodetic network, to launch a study on digital cartography of cities, to continue studies to demarcate The limits of the administrative units and the strengthening of the system for the protection of the State’s real estate and motor vehicles, as well as the payment of rents.
