Cameroon – Ndu: 20 year old boy rapes 3-year old pupil!

A boy of about 20-year old believed to be a notorious rapist has been arrested in Ndu, Ngoketunjia division of the North West region. Yuniwo Hilary of Ngarum village precisely, is presently gnashing his teeth at the Ndu Police charge office for having once again defiled a 3 year old nursery one pupil. According to reports by Savannah Frontier Radio of Ndu, the criminal committed this heinous crime last Monday while the children were out of school. hilary, son of a traditional ruler missed death last year by a whisker as an angry mob almost lynched him for the same abominable act, still with a 3 year old nursery school pupil.

While in the hospital bed at the Ndu district hospital last year, the criminal out rightly denied responsibility of the crime. He claimed that he only beckoned on the child to come for some sugar cane. According to him, the child started crying when she realized that her mates had disappeared as she walked up to him for the proposed sugar cane causing the public to misinterpret that.

According to sources present at the scene of Hilary’s last crime, the “wayward” guy is committing the crime for the forth time.

Meanwhile the victim was take to the Ndu District Hospital and examining doctor confirmed that the child was seriously tampered with (penetrated). the 1st Deputy Mayor for Ndu Martin Fon Yembe who is equally in charge of Social welfare vowed everything will be be done for the culprit to be severely sanctioned for others to learn a lesson. Speaking to SFR, the commissioner for the Ndu public security, Manga Zambo Felicien called on parents and guidance to always keep vigilance on their kids and should report cases of deviant acts.

It should be noted that rape is on a steady rise in most parts of Cameroon but remains one of the crimes that victims hardly report for fear of stigma.
