The 22 decentralized local authorities in the region of Adamawa, in the northern part of Cameroon, are seeking funding for the completion of 260 projects already mature, we learned during a round table of investors, organized by the local branch of the Communes et villes unies du Cameroun (United Councils and Towns of Cameroon).

All these projects, which require a total budget of 25 billion CFA francs, according to our sources, could entice some donors. This is mainly Feicom, the bank Cameroonian councils, which has already promised to unlock 2.6 billion CFA francs in connection with such projects.

During the same round table, officials of the National Participatory Development Programme (PNDP), controlled by the Cameroon Ministry of Finance revealed that an envelope of 4 billion CFA francs will be invested in the region of Adamawa, in the deployment of its third phase.
