Cameroon – AFCON 2017 Qualifiers: Benjamin Moukandjo will be the captain!

This Saturday, September 3, 2016, the national football team of Cameroon plays against their counterpart from Gambia at the Omnisports stadium in Limbe from 3:00 PM, match of the 6th and final day of the AFCON 2017 qualifiers.

On this occasion, the selection of Cameroon will have as captain Benjamin Moukandjo. The former player of the KSA Douala was designated on Friday, September 2, 2016 by Hugo Broos, the head coach of the Indomitable Lions. The provisional selection of a new captain was necessary because of absences for various reasons, of the holder Stephane Mbia and his two deputies Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting and Vincent Aboubakar.

After the match against Gambia, the local selection that took up residence in Limbe since last Thursday, will remain there to wait for the friendly against Gabon, scheduled Tuesday, September 6, 2016.
