Samuel Nlend is back in Cameroon, after being sacked by an Egyptian club for allegedly being HIV-Positive.
This crazy news got many Cameroonians on their nerves as many could not believe how a person can be scaked for being HIV-positive. Some even said this was a violation of privacy, and that the club had to be sued for tarnishing the Indomitable Lion’s image.
Well, Samuel decided to head back home and even had training with his teammates of Union Douala. From all indications, Cameroonians are all behind Samuel and even the SYNAFOC (Syndicat national des footballeurs camerounais) promised to engage legal actions against the Egyptian club.
His teammates were very happy to get him back and many promised to give him the moral support he needs to keep going in his career.
“We are happy to see our teammate in great shape because he is important for our team. We will put all of us together to work for good end of season. ” Said David Eto’o
Football fans have also decided to support him in one way or the other. See pics below!
