Cameroon – Insecurity: Two hostages slaughtered in Adamawa during an operation to free them by the army

A search operation of the army lead to two hostages dead. During the search operation of the BIM elements, a shootout with alleged kidnappers started. “The hostage named Halilou was freed. However, the kidnappers managed to kill the young Bassirou and Djouharatou, all aged 13, “informs our colleague.

The other two hostages managed to regain their freedom before the operation of the army, still informs the biweekly. “This is the named Djouratou, 55, who had been abandoned on the way by his tormentors on the day of the abduction because of signs of fatigue he presented. The second hostage, Abdoulaye, 20, meanwhile diverted the attention from his captors on August 9, 2016 and was able to return home.

To date, the defense forces have not managed to get hold of the kidnappers who are still on the run. But search operations are continuing throughout the Djerem division to neutralize them.
