As measures Naseri Paul Bea asked Mayors and the Government Delegate to the Douala City Council, Fritz Ntone Ntone, to clean out and drain immediately drains and gutters. At the address of neighborhood leaders, he expressed the wish not to see them sell lands located near the drains. As for Fritz Ntone Ntone, he assured that all the houses that prevent the flow of water will be destroyed. The floods of June 23, 2016 occurred almost one year to the day after that of last year.
