Barely out of FIFA, Sepp Blatter has started exposing the Mafia in football balloting.

The website says in an article published on June 13 in an interview with the Argentine daily La Nacion, “that the former FIFA President raised the question of the balloting of major international competitions, and especially the ability of faking or cheating. Even if everything is done live on television!

To authenticate his statements, “Blatter mentioned one name, Artemio Franchi, the UEFA president between 1972 and 1983, who rigged according to him the balloting of club competitions,” reports the newspaper.

The former head of FIFA reportedly confessed of attending the rigs of some of his collaborators. “I never touched the balls, others did, yes of course we can make them recognizable by heating or cooling them (…) I have witnessed balloting, at the European level, where it was done. But never in FIFA,said Blatter according to AFP. “We put the balls in the refrigerator before. By touching, you feel those cold and those that are not, “he said.
