Cameroon – Kim Jong Nam: N. Korea’s Vice President forced to land in Cameroon!

The aircraft of Kim Jong Nam arrived in Malabo, where the Asian leader attended on May 20, 2016 the inauguration ceremony of the President of Equatorial Guinea recently re-elected, Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo.

The Douala International Airport received on Monday, May 23, 2016 a passenger not like others. A distinguished guest in the person of Vice-President of the Republic of North Korea. Kim Jong-nam landed in the economic capital of Cameroon in the afternoon.

The plane of Ethiopian Airlines that carried him had to land in Cameroon because of a “technical failure“. More accurately, an electronic failure was detected after the takeoff of the plane in the Malabo airport where the aircraft departed.

He attended on May 20 the inauguration ceremony of the President of Equatorial Guinea, Obiang Nguema Mbasogo. The surprise guest was welcomed by the Governor of the Littoral Region, Samuel Dieudonn√© Ivaha Diboua, with whom he had some discussions in the VIP lounge of the international airport of Douala. The North Korean vice president said he was “touched” by the reception reserved to him by the Governor of the Littoral. He left on the same flight of the Ethiopian Airlines the same May 23 in the evening.
