The tablet was stolen at the Congress Hall (Palais des Congrès ) of Yaounde on Tuesday morning. This is not the first of such incident.

A surprising announcement was made at the Yaounde Congress Hall on the first day of the World Economic Conference. The speaker announced to the whole room the disappearance of a tablet.

Before its disappearance, it was owned by a foreign speaker. The announcer was pleading the alleged thieve of the tablet to come and give it to its owner. Up till the early evening of Tuesday, the valuable object was not recovered. What to stir the organizers of the event that gathers all the same in the Cameroonian capital, VIPs from the economic and political sphere of the world.

The worst is that Cameroon is becoming used to such incidents. In September 2015 and in a meeting of Chiefs of Police of Central Africa, a Congolese officer saw his tablet stolen. The victim was out of the room after the formal opening ceremony, leaving his bag on a chair.
