Passengers of the last two wagon of the intercity train of Camrail, who left Yaounde on Tuesday, May 17, 2016 around 10:30 to Douala, had the fear of their lives.
At twenty kilometers before the town of Edea, their wagons were detached from the rest of the unit. The tremors caused by this incident created a huge panic in the wagons, despite the assurances of security officers who recommended clients to stay glued to their seats.
The passengers had to wait more than thirty minutes to see the locomotive come back for them. The situation finally came back to normal. All passengers crossed their fingers so that no other incident occurs before their arrival at the Bessengue station in Douala.
One can only imagine the fear after all the accidents and deaths happening these days in Cameroon!
