Our country is ranked 107th in the ranking of 155 countries where it is good to live.
Since 2012, the United Nations has instituted March 20 as World Day of Happiness and Well-Being. On this occasion, World Happiness, an emanation of the UN, publishes each year its report of the happiest countries of the planet. The results of this year’s study have just been published with 155 countries.
The report takes into account a number of parameters, including: equality of opportunity, health, freedom, social protection, income of inhabitants, probity in the management of public affairs etc. In this game, the industrialized countries take the lead.
In the front row is Norway, which plays Denmark, another Scandinavian country relegated to second place. Iceland completed the podium. Top Ten is also composed of Switzerland (4th), Finland (5th), Netherlands (6th), Canada (7th), New Zealand (8th), Australia (9th) and Sweden (10th). The United States is ranked 14th while France is only 31st.
Cameroon, for her part, is found in the 107th rank. Our country ranks 11th in Africa, it is true, far from the best ranked countries, but also at a good distance from the misclassified, including Syria, Tanzania, Burundi and CAR who occupy the last places. On the continent, Algeria (53rd) is the best ranked nation in front of Mauritius (64th) and Libya (68th). Morocco (84th), Somalia (93rd), Nigeria (95th) and South Africa (101st) are included in this ranking.
