6,250,000 Cameroonians are registered on the electoral rolls.
At the end of the grooming following the electoral review of 2016, 6,250,000 Cameroonians are registered on the Elections Cameroon (Elecam) lists.
More specifically, in the data base at the national center of electoral biometrics, 6,250,000 Cameroonians are registered.
The announcement was made this Friday by Elecam, the body in charge of the electoral process.
For the year 2016 alone, from January 1 to August 31, 510,362 new electors enrolled.
As at 31 December 2013: 5,437,870 voters were registered on the electoral roll.
In 2014 and 2015, the revision of the lists made it possible to increase this figure to 5,597,041 and 5,885,769 respectively.
