The famous song of the Cameroonian rapper surpassed 75,000 sales on French soil.
Franko continues to gather laurels. The last is undoubtedly the ultimate consecration for the moment. Indeed, his song “Coller la petite” at the center of all the polemics in Cameroon was sacred gold record in France.
On his Facebook account, he proudly unveiled his gold record awarded to the Juston record/wagram label which distributed it in France via Ibrahim El ANWAR. The song is certified by the Union of French Independent Phonographic Producers (UPFI) – a professional organization that brings together independent labels and music distributors in France, it is learned.
“Thanks to you, it is not every day that it happens to an African artist living in Africa to be a golden record in France,” one reads on the Facebook page of the Cameroonian star also Sacred KUNDE of the best artist in Central Africa in Burkina Faso in April 2016.
Note that Since 2009, a golden record is obtained in France when an artist sells more than 50 000 copies of an album or 75 000 singles including streaming – with 150 plays that are equal to a sale. Franko already has more than 10,000,000 streams.
In France the golden record awarded and certified by the National Syndicate of Phonographic Publishing (SNEP) is one of the awards given to artists and is part of a list ordered in ascending order. Generally, the list is as follows:
1) Silver disc; 2) Gold disc; 3) Gold Disc 2 × Gold; 4) Platinum disc; 4) Platinum disk 2 × Platinum; 5) Platinum disk 3 × Platinum; 6) Diamond Diamond Disc.
