The Cameroonian Prime Minister is expected this week in Douala (Littoral), Sangmelima (South) and Limbe (South-West) to inaugurate vocational training centers.
Recently, Cameroon has established four centers of excellence in vocational training. In Douala and Edéa (Littoral), Limbe (South-West), Sangmelima in the South region.
These centers of excellence in vocational training were born after the failure of the current system.
It is expected that centers of excellence in vocational training will put on the market every year about 200,000 people trained and ready to self-employ or be employed.
While classical professional training currently offers only 35,000 places nationally.
The aim of the Ministry of Vocational Training is to reduce the number of unemployed in Cameroon, estimated at least 4 million, out of 23.7 million inhabitants (2015 estimate) and whose labor force is close to 9 , 4 million people.
