The Cameroonian artist Salatiel took to his Facebook account to express his mind concerning the Buea strike that saw armed forces humiliate and arrest over 150 students. That’s a normal since almost everybody had a say concerning the ongoing strikes in the English Speaking regions of the country (NW and SW). But what caught our attention was the way he expressed himself. Below is what he said.
So this means we have no right to express our grievances in Cameroon?
They don’t wait for us on the street anymore, they break our homes to assault & destroy us?
Our Children, women, students and old people? THEY CURSED!
F**k the police and whoever gave the order!
Justice is coming for you.
COWARDS! OFFICIAL TERRORISM!
ONE LOVE TO ALL VICTIMS OF THE POLICE ASSAULTS IN BUEA.
Yes, as you can read, the celebrity was really angry. But his anger is really strange tho, because for those who don’t know, this same Salatiel had a different point of view when Bamenda started the strike. Below is what he wrote on his wall.
Note that he has deleted that post after being called out by many Cameroonians including some of his fans who were disappointed for such posts coming from him.
So the question now is, is Salatiel being bias here by showing more concern on the Buea strike than the Bamenda strike? or he just learned his lesson from the slams from his fans?
