The scene took place in the public schools of Djunang and Sessang in Bafoussam on 3rd November 8, 2016.

The Emergence Daily edition of November 9, 2016 reports that on November 8, the delegation accompanying the Honorable Oumbe Deffo Sangong, MP of the Mifi in Western Region, attended “a true spectacle” in the three subdivisions of the city. That day, says the newspaper, Headmasters of the public schools specifically decided to boycott the remittance ceremonies of tables and benches.

However, according to the newspaper, the action of the MP is a response to the complaint that was sent to him by the school Headmasters. “It’s not my problem, I got involved in the educational development of our children. After a study and grievances addressed by several presidents of the PTA and even school headmasters, it took me to respond to these complaints by providing them what they need for the happiness of our students ” said the Hon.

According to sources, the principals were instructed to boycott the ceremonies for reasons that remain unknown. Yet the paper said, that day there was at the Batoukop government school in the District of Bafoussam 1, the presence of a strong delegation of militants of the political party who came to welcome the MP.

We met and even wore the party uniform knowing that politics is not in school, this act is from some pundits in the CPDM who gave orders that nobody participates in this ceremony which was meant for the happiness of our children, “said a militant of the SDF.
