The Cameroon Ministry of Commerce organized from October 19 to 23, 2016 in Moscow, the first edition of Cameroon’s economic Days in Russia.
This initiative, says a source in this ministry, aims to enable local traders to enter new markets. Also, during the Moscow visit of the delegation of Cameroon, the Minister Mbarga Atangana, speaking before a hundred of Russian economic operators and other diplomats of foreign countries, he took the opportunity to present the opportunities which conceals Cameroon. He reiterated this point of view the strategic position of the country, which is located at the crossroads of a market of 300 million consumers (10 ECCAS countries plus Nigeria).
Remember, although no statistics are advanced, Russians and Cameroonians have agreed that trade between the two countries “is very low.” At the effect of reversing this trend, the Russian Business Center (RBC) officially launched its activities in Yaounde in March, 2014.
