They wish at the same time to address the problems that plague the politics and society in Cameroon.

A delegation led by Shanda Tomne met the economic operator Victor Fotso issue to acquire the consent of  the billionaire of Bandjoun about the advocacy committed to obtaining a presidential pardon for his son, former deputy head of the Camair, Yves Michel Fotso.

This initiative will be supported by the traditional chiefs of the Western Region, said the daily Le Messager published Monday, October 24, 2016. Sources close to this approach argue that fifty senior leaders of the Western Region have “ already agreed for any request for a hearing to the President of the Republic, Paul Biya.

In the same vein, the dean of the senior leaders of the Western Region, His Majesty Jean Rameau Soukoudjou says that this meeting should be an opportunity for the college to address the problems that undermine the social and political life in Cameroon. However, he cautions that “we will discuss together how to approach the President of the Republic and identify those who can go and ask the pardon of Yves Michel Fotso and the other prisoners of Operation Sparrowhawk, who are also our children” reads in the newspaper.

Also, if the senior leaders of the Western Region are committed to consolidate other leaders of the region to eventual requests a hearing from the Head of State, they also intends to exorcise certain behaviors in this brotherhood of the region, the newspaper said. Also, for the paramount chief of Bamendjou “it’s the entourage of Yves Michel Fotso who misled him“.

Remember, Yves Michel Fotso was sentenced to life imprisonment in connection with the liquidation of the Camair.
