The Cameroonian government will release 4 billion CFA francs to finance the construction of a motorway between the town of Kribi and the locality of Lolablé, home to the deepwater port of Kribi, whose commissioning is long several months now.
This financing, we learn officially, will be paid from 15 billion CFA francs extra obtained by the State of Cameroon under the overallotment of its recent bond issue from 2016 to 2021.
The Kribi-Lolablé highway, along 38 Km, is part of the highway project Edea-Kribi-Lolablé. For several months, the Chinese company CHEC, who built the port of Kribi, launched general earthworks on the linear concerned by these early funding. To recap, the deepwater port of Kribi, the largest port infrastructure of Cameroon, is already served by a long dirt road of 33 km.
