The national football team of Cameroon has left France this afternoon of Friday, October 7, 2016 to Algeria.

Thus ends a stay of almost a week in the hexagon, specifically in the town of Mallemort. The coach Hugo Broos and his foals are prepared for the Sunday October 9, 2016 match against Algeria. Before embarking, the Indomitable Lions made a very moving farewell yesterday Thursday in Mallemort. The town that hosts the training course of the Indomitable Lions held a ceremony in honor of Cameroon. Yet Helen Gente, mayor of this town, was able to find the right words to put some heat in the Cameroonian delegation despite the cold weather of that town. The municipality waited until the end of the training session in the afternoon to tell the Indomitable Lions how the population is happy to welcome here the national team of Cameroon.

France prepared the 98 World Cup on the stadium hosting the Lions since Sunday and won the competition. The mayor wants Cameroon to do the same by winning next Sunday’s match against Algeria. The town has also signed an agreement with the Cameroon Football Federation. Tombi A Roko Sidiki, the president of FECAFOOT said it is the beginning of a collaboration that will grow over the years. The President of FECAFOOT expressed all his happiness to reside with the team in this county and welcomed all the support of the municipality in the success of this course.

For the Minister of Sports and Physical Education, Bidoung Mpkatt, Cameroon will welcome the Mayor of Mallemort and make him live the peculiarities of the Cameroonian hospitality.

The Indomitable Lions will take their neighborhoods in Algeria on Friday and will be tomorrow at the Mustapha Tcaker stadium  in the city of Blida for the traditional meeting of recognition of the play area that will house the Sunday clash against Algeria’s Fennecs.
