Clinton Njie will not to play next Sunday against Algeria, in the first match of the final qualifying round of the 2018 World Cup to be played in Russia. The Marseille player in France was injured last Saturday during a training session with his club. He has been replaced by Ndip Tambe. The Lions started their reunion on Monday in Marseille.
Ndip Tambe celebrated his first convocation on September 3 against Gambia (2-0), on the occasion of the last day of qualifying for the African Cup of Nations (CAN) 2017. Recalled as reinforcement at the deying minute, Ndip Tambe completes the workforce of Hugo Broos.

The Lions will play an evaluation match tomorrow against Olympique Marseille before setting sail for Algeria next Friday.
