Now alone in the war against the current leaders of the Cameroon Football Federation (FECAFOOT), abandoned by all his companions, Abdouraman Hamadou Babba is not ready to let go.

Even after receiving from the FIFA (Federation Internationale de Football Association) on 20 September 2016, a letter to the unfavorable content for his cause, the president of Étoile filante de Garoua does not want to let go. “I persist and sign … The countdown is running …” he wrote on his Facebook page.

For him, there is a strong likelihood that the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) will make a final decision in the first week of October 2016 on the position in controversial management of FECAFOOT. The election last year that brought` Tombi A Roko Sidiki at the head of the federation was invalidated by the judges of the National Olympic and Sports Committee of Cameroon. Tombi A Roko did not give leave the Federation. For Abdouraman, the CAS must dislodge him from this function.

The CAS’ verdict could be damaging to national football teams participating in international competitions. Meanwhile, Abdouraman, according to our sources in the Presidency of the Republic, has sent letters to the Prime Minister, Head of Government, the President of the Republic and the Minister of Sports and Physical Education to explain his stands to the court of arbitration for Sport.

This approach primarily aims to safeguard the interests of our football, of which if it hopes to better, urgently requires the qualification of the Indomitable Lions for the next finals of the World Cup. In our humble opinion, it would be highly risky for our national team to address this major competition in the current conditions, “said Abdouraman.
