Cameroon – Camair-Co: The Dja, scared the hell out of passengers as fire broke out of the aircraft!

Trip canceled! Yesterday Friday, September 2, 2016 shortly after 7:00 PM, the pilot of the Dja, that name given to the Boeing 767-300 of the Cameroon Airline, was already maneuvering on the runway at the Nsimalen International Airport in Yaounde for takeoff to the Douala International airport, when a fire broke out on the aircraft. According to our sources, flames were seen from the plane’s engines.

“It’s not a fire as such. It is simply a failure that occurred because fuel passed through the combustion chamber without burning. Combustion was carried out rather to the output of the engine. The failure was shown on pilots dashboard. There is an electronic card that needs to be changed. We’ll do it tomorrow and the plane will leave ” said a technical manager for Camair-Co.

Big scare for passengers. New stop for the Dja falling down regularly lately and has become a real abyss in public funds.
